Red Tea
The vibrant hues of Rooibos (Red Tea):
Red Tea is made from the leaves of the Aspalathus linearis plant, native to South Africa. This tea is caffeine-free and has a naturally sweet and earthy flavor.
Unlike the green and black teas this tea is enjoyed on its own due to its naturally sweet and aromatic flavor.

Prep your water: (unless using an infuser)
A lot of sites will tell you to decide on what blend and ready your tea leaves first, but I think its best to start your water first.
Heat your water to a rolling boil of approximately 200-215 degrees F.
Prepare your blend:
Now that your water is on you will need 2 teaspoons of the blend.
If you are using teabags then prep your teabags (if needed) and arrange in mug or cup
If you are using an infuser put the blend in the infuser first then add water then heat.
If you are using a pot with a strainer it doesn’t matter if placed before or after. This brew is already strong so if you’d like a lighter brew remove the tea on the earlier side.
Steeping instructions:
For Red Tea the ideal steeping time is approximately 5-7 minutes. You will want to separate the blend from the water after this time has lapsed. for a weaker blend let steep for 3-5 minutes
